Riding blankets are a quarter sheet that features include: a saddle cut out, Velcro front closure, & a tail cord. Unlike exercise rugs, riding blankets may be worn under the saddle or over the rider's legs, and can be removed without unsaddling. Order the size of the winter blanket that your horse normally wears not the length of its back.
