The Rambo Duo is one of the best turnouts you can purchase for your horse. Up to 5 blankets in one the Duo allows you to choose the level of warmth needed for your horse. The Duo is a waterproof and breathable outer ballistic nylon shell with 100g of thermobonded fiberfill. The Duo comes with a neck cover and a 300g detachable liner. When the detachable liner and outer shell are combined together, you have a 400g weight blanket perfect for the blustery cold. Additional liners are available for purchase making for a perfect blanket on cool to chilly days. Liners come in 100g, 200g, 300g and 400g thermobonded fiberfills. This allows you to adjust your Duo from 100g to up to 500g of warmth.

The Rambo Duo has patented Leg Arches, Euro-Cut no slip design with three removable surcingles and a PVC coated tail cord. Three surcingles allow the depth of the blanket to contour to your horse's shape and provide extra coverage under the belly. Horseware's patented Leg Arches allows freedom of forward motion and prevents extra fabric from gathering around your horse's legs as he moves. The patented 'V' Front closure system is easy to use amd allows the blanket to be carried on top of the shoulder rather than the point of the shoulder allowing the blanket to move as the horse moves.

How It Works

The Rambo Duo utilizes Velcro and snap closures to allow you to attach the inner liner to the outer shell without extra bulky straps. The inner liner and outer shell operate as one unit. No more shifted and disheveled under blankets.

Fitting Your Horse's Blanket

The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. An improperly fitted blanket can cause rubbing and slippage. Horseware blankets are euro-cut and the sizes do not run the same as other manufacturers' blankets. To find out what size Rambo blanket your horse needs, measure the distance from the center of the chest to the center of the tail and subtract 4 inches. Horseware Rambo blankets are sized in three-inch increments, so you will need to choose the closest size available. Horseware Rambo blankets run large so we recommend choosing the closest size down from your measurement if in between sizes.

Care Of Your Horse's Blanket

To keep your blanket as comfortable as possible for your horse and to maximize the blanket's life, we recommend that you clean your blanket annually. First, remove excess dirt from the outside of the blanket with a brush and hose. The blanket can then be washed either by hand, or on a delicate cycle with cool water in a commercial washer. Use only very mild soap. Horseware recommends Rambo Rug Wash, an environmentally friendly product for use on synthetic fabrics. Rambo Rug Wash will effectively remove dirt without damaging the waterproof coating. When the blanket has been washed, allow to drip dry and ensure that the blanket is thoroughly dry before storage. Do not put your horse's blanket in the dryer or wash with hot water. Do not store your horse's blanket if damp or wet. This will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties. In the unlikely event that your horse blanket should become nicked or damaged due to horse abuse Horseware recommends Rambo Stormsure or the Rambo Blanket Repair Kit to contain and waterproof the nicks that your blanket may incur through the years.
