This is my second pair of these Mountain Horse boots. I am 5'10" and very leggy. I've heard complaints that the wide boots are too tall for some riders, but I personally need the height so am grateful for the slightly taller length and the cut on the outside that adds to the look of length.
The boots are waterproof and comfortable. The have the feel of a stiffer boot. My last pair lasted me 11 years on nearly constant winter use! I know the furry interior is a personal preference.. I love the warmth it affords; I can go outside at 20 degrees Fahrenheit with just my insulated breeches,, these boots,, and a few layers of top cover and be very comfortable in my barn and indoor arena (neither are heated).
In general my experience with products from Mountain Horse is that the items are worth the money; well made with quality materials. Highly recommend.
