My roly-poly Morgan needed a little something to help keep his saddle in place during fox hunts. This piece, along with a non-slip saddle pad, have made that possible. It is a nice piece, wish I had ordered the brass fittings instead of the stainless steel, but it is still lovely. I've only had it less than a few months, so can't really assess the durability.
