English girths are use for all purpose or close contact saddles. Dressage girths are shorter and used on long billeted dressage saddles. Girths come in a variety of sizes and materials. Leather girths are the most popular but neoprene, fleece, nylon and materials such as ThinLine are now becoming more popular.
