I bought these half chaps after years of owning tall boots and I really loved them. They were comfortable, reasonably priced, and looked lovely. Unfortunately, after about six rides in them (spaced out over many months) the left one started coming apart. The leather covering the neoprene panel next to the zipper came out of the stitching and the neoprene itself developed holes where the stitching pierced the fabric. I was very disappointed and have since discovered other reviews from people who encountered the same issue.
