Cashel Flysheet Belly Guard

Cashel Belly Guard Protects your horse from biting flies that congregate around the navel and sternum of the belly. The Belly Guard is perfect for protecting your horse out in the pasture or in a stable setting. Its soft, adjustable straps help maintain position to prevent shifting and offers superior protection, but is light enough that your horse stays cool and comfortable. Use with a Crusader Fly Sheet.

The fly sheet belly guard is helpful but I had to refigure it

The shealth guard is not practical and geldings can not "drop" as nature intends. I removed that and used back stretch ties in the end and middle to make it work. Ties between the back legs looked as if they would rub.

If fit great and has great coverage, but if your horse walks to the other side of the paddock and back, its coming right off. Works wonderfully for a stalled horse though.

I think that the concept of a belly sheet is good but the item needs to be redesigned to make it easier to put on.

I love the concept of this belly guard

I refused to give in to the flies this year. HOWEVER, I had to reconfigure the straps and fastening design. That cost me $40. The design, material and placement of the straps is horrific. But I was able to modify it with some thread, big needles and velcro wraps. Now it works great, it is easy to put on and take off, and is secure. I do not have to worry about it coming off or undone.

I bought this Belly Guard for my Coldblood

He suffers every Summer by Mosquitoes and Horseflies. But I did't wont him to wear a full suit, because he sweats. So I choose this one to wear at night or during the early evening. And it is realy wounderful for him.

Great idea but the little velcro tabs wont hold it in place

It falls off my horse in less than 10 minutes. Not worth the money.
