Rambo Optimo Turnout Blanket
Rambo Optimo - The Best just got Better
Introducing the Articulated Pivotal Dart - designed to follow your horse's movements!
Only Horseware could find a way to add even more innovative design to their industry leading Rambo Turnout blankets! The new Rambo Optimo features provide greater freedom and comfort for your horse while providing more convenience to you. The Optimo features an Articulated Pivot Dart that is designed to follow the horse's movements. The dart is placed above and behind the shoulder to allow the horse to move in an exuberant manner. The front of the turnout will move, turn and extend to follow natural movement while the back of the rug stays in position without pulling forward or slipping. This allows the shoulder to be freer while maintaining maximum coverage at all times. Detachable 400g Optimo Liner included. Additional 100g, 200g, 300g and 400g liners are sold separately.

Fitting Your Horse's Blanket
The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. An improperly fitted blanket can cause rubbing and slippage. Horseware blankets are euro-cut and the sizes do not run the same as other manufacturers' blankets. To find out what size Rambo blanket your horse needs, measure the distance from the center of the chest to the center of the tail and subtract 4 inches. Horseware Rambo blankets are sized in three-inch increments, so you will need to choose the closest size available. Horseware Rambo blankets run large so we recommend choosing the closest size down from your measurement.
Care Of Your Horse's Blanket
To keep your blanket as comfortable as possible for your horse and to maximize the blanket's life, we recommend that you clean your blanket annually. First, remove excess dirt from the outside of the blanket with a brush and hose. The blanket can then be washed either by hand, or on a delicate cycle with cool water in a commercial washer. Use only very mild soap. Horseware recommends Rambo Rug Wash, an environmentally friendly product for use on synthetic fabrics. Rambo Rug Wash will effectively remove dirt without damaging the waterproof coating. When the blanket has been washed, allow to drip dry and ensure that the blanket is thoroughly dry before storage. Do not put your horse's blanket in the dryer or wash with hot water. Do not store your horse's blanket if damp or wet. This will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties. In the unlikely event that your horse blanket should become nicked or damaged due to horse abuse Horseware recommends Rambo Stormsure or the Rambo Blanket Repair Kit to contain and waterproof the nicks that your blanket may incur through the years.
