Waterproof and Warm Turnout

This top of the line Waterproof-Breathable Turnout blanket from Pessoa features a 1200 denier Teflon coated Ballistic Weave outer shell. It has 180 gram insulation with a 3M moisture wicking quick dry lining. Patented Exceler closure system where you adjust the front closures just once and there after just snap the blanket closed. Further included are a removable double hook & loop tail cover, adjustable elastic leg straps, hidden elastic surcingles, action gussets and rust-proof hardware.

This is our first blanket purchase

We looked at many blankets, and this one had all the features we were looking for at a great price. Have had it for a few weeks now and have used it almost nightly. Easy to put on, super adjustable, have seen him roll in it and it hasn't come off, and it looks great (we bought the Earth Plaid). Cannot speak to durability as we've only had it for a few weeks now, but ours still looks new and nothing has torn.

Neckline completely wrong for my Friesian/Morgan cross

Neck/shoulder meant for lighter horses. Price a bit out of my budget. Can't really speak to the other qualities as the blanket went on my horse and right back into the bag. I've heard good things about Pessoa blankets so I though I'd give it a try. Wound up sending it back.

Definitely NOT the blanket for a heavy-necked, broad-shouldered/chested horse

Draft crosses, Friesians, etc. (and possibly bigger warmbloods) save your time and money and look elsewhere.

Beautiful blanket! It's held up well in Alaska weather with a horse that likes to run and roll around. I would buy this blanket again in an instant! Very good quality and worth every penny.
