This is the perfect treat ball for hay pellets or chopped carrots or apples

It holds a generous quantity. I would estimate approximately 3 cups or more. It is perfect for the paddock but i would reccomend 1 per horse. I also enjoy placing 1 in each hay box if it is muddy outside. The horses investigate each box with pure delight. Sometimes i put different items in each ball. This is an essential item during stall rest.
