Sheepskin Pads
If you grew up doing hunt seat and then switched over to dressage, you will appreciate our combination traditional 5/A Baker plaid with deluxe sheepskin in the half pad area. We also offer saddle pads for dressage that have a shaped shim, rolled wither, solid spine, and three shim pockets. A luxury dressage pad is available that has garment-quality shearling placed over the withers and underneath the saddle pressure points. In addition, we have pads that feature an ergonomic design.
Sheepskin-like Dressage Pads
We have dressage pads lined with luxurious sheepskin-like SupaFleece, which protects against chafing and sores by increasing airflow and cushioning against impact. These pads are made of an 80% polyester and 20% cotton outer layer, and a 100% polyester fleece lining.
Quilted Dressage Pads
Our dressage saddle pads for sale include traditional box quilting plus padding at the wither that will give your horse extra wither relief. We also offer a quilted oversize dressage saddle pad (22" drop x 24" spine) constructed of Quick Dry lining foam with a girth slot of 6 1/2", a cotton shell, and an Amara padded wither.
Multi-Discipline Pads
If you're looking for a pad that can be used both for schooling and dressage jumping, we offer square-shaped saddle pads for dressage constructed of plush premium sheepskin and suede spinal-relief insets.
A broad range of sizes are available, ranging from pony/cob to cob/horse, and larger. Please refer to your items sizing chart.
Please check any instructions provided. Everyday dressage saddle pads can usually be machine washed and dried. Make sure to brush off hair before washing by using a stiff brush or a jelly curry. If the pads are especially dirty, you can pre-rinse them with a power hose. Use a more natural detergent that will cause less skin irritation for your horse than a harsher detergent.
To keep your white show pads white, keep them separate from other laundry. Pre-treat stains with a laundry stick at the show and wash them as soon as you get home. Use an oxygen-booster cleaning product, or add a little baking soda to the wash for extra brightness. If your dressage pads have an odor, you can add a little white vinegar to your wash cycle.
