Standing Martingales

Standing martingales are pieces of English that attach from the noseband to the girth. Standing martingales engage pressure when the horse raises his head high enough to engage the martingale. Standing martingales are most often used in the hunter ring or while schooling. A standing martingale attachment can be used on your breastplate in place of an additional piece of tack. Standing martingales come in all styles of leather. They include flat leather, plain raised and fancy stitched.
