Snaffle Bridles with a Flash Noseband
For more effective engagement of the bit.
Most beginning and intermediate level Dressage horses are ridden in Snaffle Bridles with Flash Nosebands.
A Flash Noseband is generally attached to a standard cavesson and wraps below the bit and under the chin groove. This type of noseband discourages a horse from opening their mouth, thus evading the bit. Flashes can either be permanant or removeable. Consider a removeable flash if you would like the option to use it or not depending on your horse's particular needs.
When used for Dressage, a bridle with flash will generally be black, when used for jumping, it is often brown.
