EQUESTRIAN CHAPS AND HALF CHAPS FOR YOUNG RIDERS
Equestrian Riding Chaps provide protection for your young rider's legs from rubs and from horse sweat. Riding chaps also provide a little more grip in the saddle.
What Style Chaps Are Best for My Child?
English Half Chaps are extremely popular for lessons and schooling and pair with paddock boots. While leather and suede are the most common option for materials, half chaps are now also available in synthetic materials, which are often machine washable.
English Full chaps were once the most popular option for schooling and are still a good option, particularly for those riders who wish to ride in jeans. They are also a nice option for additional warmth during the winter months.
For Western Riding Full chaps remain the standard and are typically made of suede or leather and may be adorned with fringe and conchos for the show ring.
We also offer semi custom full chaps and half chaps so you can choose the exact colors and features your child wants.
