Equestrian Skull Caps are a popular riding helmet choice for eventers, race jockeys, and steeple chase riders. These smooth, no brim,safety helmets provide exceptional protection in the event of fall at speed. Anytime you see events with speed involved, you will likely see equestrian skull caps!
Most riders wear them with helmet covers which allow them to adjust the look of the skull cap depending upon the activity they are engaged in. For cross county rounds, bright color coordinated helmet covers are used, while traditional black velvet is the choice for show jumping.
