Ride in Style with the Perfect Shadbelly for Your Discipline

What is the Difference Between a Dressage Shadbelly and a Hunter Shadbelly?

A dressage shadbelly has six buttons that are gold or silver in color and will typically be made of a solid black or navy fabric with canary tips. The tails of a dressage shadbelly and typically weighted and may be lined with leather or synthetic material and come to approximately the back of the rider's knee.

A hunter shadbelly has six self-colored buttons and is made of a conservative color, the tips may be a variety of colors that coordinates with the lining of the jacket. The tails of a hunter shadbelly are not weighted, and are typically shorter than that of a dressage shadbelly.
