Western Reins for all your Training and Showing needs.
Western Reins come in two basic models - split reins and roper/barrel reins. Split reins are in two separate pieces that do not connect, while roper reins are connected at the rider end. The idea being that when roping or running barrels you need to be able to drop the reins and not have them fall to the side of the horse.
Within those two basic types there are a wide variety of materials and decorative aspects of Western reins. There are leather western reins, rope reins, weighted reins, and decorative reins with tassels and conchos.
