Use a Breastcollar to Keep Your Western Saddle in Place
Breastcollars are commonly used amount western riders to keep their western saddles from shifting. Because Western saddles are relatively heavy, and many Western disciplines require fast and rather abrupt movement, western breastcollars are a necessity. Without a breastcollar, it would be easy for a saddle to slip into an uncomfortable position for the horse.
