English Breastplates
Add a Breastplate to Keep your Saddle From Shifting
A breastplate is a very great addition for anyone who jumps bigger fences, or rides at speed over uneven terrain.
Breastplates, or breastcollars, attach to the saddle and/or the girth and wrap around the horses chest. By adding additional anchoring, this holds saddle in place, which is particularly important over large fences.
Breastplates can come with or without martingale attachments. In most cases, if they come with an attachment, it is removable, and generally speaking other attachments can be added later.
