Glad We Purchased - Part 2

Finally had a chance today to use the B2 kit for the first time in our aluminum 16' bumper-pull stock trailer. At the urging of trailereyes.com support staff, I wired the camera power source to the trailer 12v instead of the 9v battery. (Support said the camera life expectancy using the battery is considerably shorter than the "up to 2 hrs" described in the owner's manual). Because our trailer is aluminum, I had to get creative with zip ties to secure the magnetic antenna mount to the trailer. The picture was clear on the monitor inside the tow vehicle. It worked much better in the trailer/vehicle than from barn to house.

We haven't had a chance to mount it in our 16-foot bumper-pull stock trailer yet. We had a sick horse in the barn a few days after purchase, though, and it took just a few minutes to set everything up. All mounting hardware included. Barn is only 165 feet from the house, but there are several large overhanging trees and a tool shed in-between. The picture is goes between clear and fuzzy, but it has amazingly good infrared in complete darkness. Had to reposition the barn and house antennas a few times to get a signal that wouldn't come-and-go. Glad we purchased it. Looking forward to trying it out in the trailer going to our next show.

Easy Trailer Eyes

The monitor's clear picture is excellent. Was easy to set up. Battery does not last long but we have already set it up through the trailer's electrical. Will be great in the barn as well for our next foal. Very versatile product.
