Your hay will last longer with the Shires® Small Hole Hay Net. This hay net is designed with small, 2" mesh holes which makes hay last longer, prevents waste, and slows feeding. Perfect for trailers and at events away from home!

This hay net is available in multiple colors. Horse: 40". Pony: 30".

Some of our products come with Manufacturer's Warranties. Please note, these warranties are through the manufacturer and not Equestrian Collections. It is the customer's responsibility to meet the qualifications of the manufacturer (For example, return a warranty card after purchase). Any warranty information provided to Equestrian Collections by the manufacturer will be included with your purchase.

Products that DO NOT have a Manufacturer's Warranty are covered by the Equestrian Collections Warranty. Unless otherwise noted, Equestrian Collections will replace or repair a product that fails within six months of purchase, with normal use and conditions.

There are speical, legal, and health related considerations that preclude warranties, or returns, on certain categories of products:

DVDs, VHS, CDs:

Equestrian Collections is committed to following all International Copyright Laws and ending pirating of intellectual property. Due to International Copyright Law, open DVDs, VHS tapes, or CDs are not eligible for return or exchange of any kind. (Unopened products in their original packaging are, of course, full returnable)

Health Care Products:

Equestrian Collections is always concerned about the health of our customers, and their horses. Open and/or expired supplements, or health care products are not covered by warranty and can not be returned or exchanged. In particular, Equestrian Collections can not guarantee any results from equine supplements. We encourage you to consult your veterinarian when choosing supplements and other equine health products.

Intimate Apparel:

Due to health concerns, all intimate apparel and body jewelry, are not eligible for return or exchange. Please consult with our Customer Service Representatives if you would like help with your selection prior to making your purchase.

Custom or Semi-Custom Items:

Custom or Semi-Custom Items are made especially for you and are therefore not returnable, or exchangeable, except for manufacturer's defect. Our Customer Service Representatives are always available to help you design your custom orders so that they will be just right for you and your horse.

International Orders:

We gladly accept the return of International Orders. However, you will be responsible for any duty or taxes associated with the return shipment. Additionally, you must obtain an authorization prior to making an international return shipment to Equestrian Collections.

Outlet Items:

Equestrian Collections Outlet items are one of kind closeout items that are sold at deep discounts. They are sold "as is" and are returnable for STORE CREDIT ONLY.

Horse Clothing and Blankets:

We realize that horse blankets can be difficult to fit, so we allow you to try the blanket on your horse and return it if it does not fit. However, we ask that the blanket be kept CLEAN while you are trying it. Dirty, soiled blankets, or blankets that do not have original tags attached, can not be returned. Also, if the blanket does not fit, DO NOT leave it on your horse. A poorly fitting blanket will tear, and will therefore be deemed ineligible for return.

Great hay nets!

We recently started using hay nets for all of the outdoor paddocks at our barn. The horses definitely take more time to eat their hay and there is not a lot of mess. We ordered some more expensive, bigger hay nets for some but these are great for the smaller guys. We have not had them long enough to determine long term durability, but so far, so good!

Product is awesome! I wish I had known about this years ago. I love the elimination of wasted hay, The net enables the horses to graze all day by pulling the hay out in strands as opposed to ingesting hay within a couple hours.

This was just what I needed for my pony. It was a little smaller than I expected, which is actually good because it's the perfect size for her, and the small holes make her hay last longer. Quality and service are excellent!

I just re-ordered after using the same hay nets for well over a year, every day. they have lasted very well and just look a bit worn and gummed up. My horse is a very easy keeper and has mildly foundered so we need to keep his weight down. the hay nets make him eat slow enough that he is entertained for much longer than would ever be possible with free access or regular hay nets.

This has been great for eliminating wasted hay, it stops the horses from eating too fast and dropping half of the hay on the ground. Is also really sturdy and nothing can break it!Going to buy more.

I've been using these pony-sized, slow-feed hay nets for my two minis for about a week and find them easy to fill because they are stiff and stay open. They are not too frustrating for the "litle girls," who are very hungry due to the strict diet they are on. The hay nets hold just the right amount of hay for each feeding. I soak the mini's hay in the bags for one hour, then drain before hanging it in their stalls. I'm hoping the bags will hold up well being wet all the time. That's why I only gave them a 5 for durability. Haven't had them long enough to know. Good product!
