Black Ultimate Stirrup by MDC Intelligent Stirrups- Position your stirrups where you want them. Allows custom positioning to the setting that best suits you; traditional, 45 degrees, or 90 degrees. This allows for the best leg position while it relieves pressure, thus improving comfort. The Black Ultimate Stirrup have the same design features as the stainless MDC Ultimate Stirrup with a black powder coating.

Additionally, MDC Intelligent Stirrups improve security due to ease of retrievability. Rubber covered hinged sides give a shock absorbing feel to your joints and provide the most comfortable ride on the market. Fitting Your Stirrups
Stirrups are measured by the actual opening allowed for the width of the foot. A standard rule of thumb is that when the foot is in the stirrup, there is room for your index finger to be placed on either side of boot. Generally, a ladies size 7 boot can be either a 4 1/2" or a 4 3/4." Very petite women and children use a 4 1/4." stirrup, while very small children may require a size smaller. Most men wear a 4 3/4", while men with very large feet or very wide feet wear a 5".

Remember that a properly fit stirrup allows for easier retrieval and in the event of a fall, more room to clear the stirrup before it has a chance to turn back on the released boot. MDC Ultimate Stirrups with the rubber hinge are "True Sized." That means that the opening for the foot is as advertised. A 4 3/4" stirrup has a 4 3/4" opening. Most other hinged stirrups do not take into consideration the rubber sleeve and actually measure an inside dimension of 4 1/2". Please order your true size in MDC Ultimate Stirrups.

DVDs, VHS, CDs:
Equestrian Collections is committed to following all International Copyright Laws and ending pirating of intellectual property. Due to International Copyright Law, open DVDs, VHS tapes, or CDs are not eligible for return or exchange of any kind. (Unopened products in their original packaging are, of course, full returnable)

Health Care Products:
Equestrian Collections is always concerned about the health of our customers, and their horses. Open and/or expired supplements, or health care products are not covered by warranty and can not be returned or exchanged.  In particular, Equestrian Collections can not guarantee any results from equine supplements.  We encourage you to consult your veterinarian when choosing supplements and other equine health products.

Intimate Apparel:
Due to health concerns, all intimate apparel and body jewelry, are not eligible for return or exchange. Please consult with our Customer Service Representatives if you would like help with your selection prior to making your purchase.

Custom or Semi-Custom Items:
Custom or Semi-Custom Items are made especially for you and are therefore not returnable, or exchangeable, except for manufacturer's defect. Our Customer Service Representatives are always available to help you design your custom orders so that they will be just right for you and your horse.

International Orders:
We gladly accept the return of International Orders.  However, you will be responsible for any duty or taxes associated with the return shipment.  Additionally, you must obtain an authorization prior to making an international return shipment to Equestrian Collections. 

Outlet Items:
Equestrian Collections Outlet items are one of kind closeout items that are sold at deep discounts.  They are sold "as is" and are returnable for STORE CREDIT ONLY. 

Horse Clothing and Blankets:
We realize that horse blankets can be difficult to fit, so we allow you to try the blanket on your horse and return it if it does not fit.  However, we ask that the blanket be kept CLEAN while you are trying it.  Dirty, soiled blankets, or blankets that do not have original tags attached, can not be returned.  Also, if the blanket does not fit, DO NOT leave it on your horse.  A poorly fitting blanket will tear, and will therefore be deemed ineligible for return.
