Wonderful, but runs small

I have hunted high and low for a real rain coat with a hood and below knee length, and which also doesn't make me look like I'm wearing a tent. This coat is beautifully made as well as highly functional - I'm so happy to have found it. I wear size 2-4 and ordered a small, and it was tight especially in the hips. I returned that and ordered a medium, which just arrived. It fits me perfectly, so just be sure to order at least one size up. It's pricier than I would normally pay, but the workmanship is worth it. Looking forward to a rainstorm!

Expensive, but gorgeous

Very classy coat with lots of features. Haven't gotten a chance to use it in the saddle yet (poorly timed broken leg) but it was wonderful to wear to dinner in the rain. Long (calf length), so covers everything, and the hood is very useful. It has straps to snap around your leg so that your legs are covered in the saddle - genius, can't wait to try it! Also love the vent in the back, which snaps open or closed. It fits a bit large. I got a L and usually wear a 8-10, but I can fit a sweater, fleece, etc., underneath. It is not very thick itself, but I heard there is a lining you can buy separately. Great weather-resistant and dust/dirt/hay resistant fabric. I got the brown plaid (so dirt wouldn't show) and it is a really gorgeous repeating plaid with brown, grey, white, and black (almost like a shrunken Baker pattern).
