Choose a Moisture Management System for your pad:
Brushed Twill Fabric - This is the standard twill used on Classics III pads. This fabric is made of a poly-cotton blend that is washable and easy care.
Bucas Stay Dry Fabric - Bucas Stay Dry lining wicks sweat and moisture away from the horse, while keeping the inside of the lining dry.
ETC™ Fabric - ETC™ Fabric uses advanced technology to create a non-slip, but anti-friction surface. Typically "non-slip" pads use friction and therefore create heat. ETC™ has anti-friction properties that allow it be non-slip but minimize heat build up. ETC™ is also more stain resistance than poly-cotton twill. This fabric is made in the USA.
Choose the Impact Protection for your pad:
Lo-Impact™ - This low density viscoelastic foam is ideal for general riding and schooling. It is ideal for conditioning as it allows for expansion of muscles required for conditioning. Because of its thickness (25mm), Lo-Impact™ does not dissipate heat rapidly, so it is most appropriate for low impact riding.
Pro-Impact™ - This ultra light, ultra thin (5mm) layer of high density Poron XRD provides superior concussion protection. This open cell foam absorbs 90% of the shock of impact, thus protecting both the horse and the rider from "energy bounce" that occurs when the rider lands in the saddle. This level of protection is ideal for athletic performance and intense schooling.
Ortho-Impact™ - This pad combines a thin layer (5mm) of Poron with a thicker layer (12 mm)of Viscoelastic foam. This combination is highly stabilizing, making it ideal for horses with conformation issues, or for riders with back problems.
Choose your Thermal Balance material:
WoolBack® - WoolBack® is manufactured fleece made from 100% virgin wool. It is made into a 1" pile, which provides ideal density and heat dispersal properties. WoolBack® is highly breathable. Unlike natural sheepskin, WoolBack® is dryer safe. Made in the USA
CoolBack® - CoolBack® is a 100% polyester orthopedic fleece that has been specially formulated to withstand the rigors of equestrian use. Because it is a completely manufactured product, it does not have the variations in density common in natural hide. CoolBack® has superior breathability, as air easily passes through its woven backing. Dryer safe, and can be bleached. Made in the USA.
Sheepskin - Sheepskin has long been the traditional material for saddle pads. This is 100% Australian sheepskin, tanned in New Zealand. The pile is resilient, durable, and cushioning. Because sheepskin is a "live fiber" it is highly breathable. Live fur fibers are hollow, thus air easily passes through them, keeping your horse's back cooler. Line dry only. Do not bleach.
Because this is a custom made pad, it is not returnable except in cases of rare manufacturer defect. Please allow 3-4 weeks for your custom pad to arrive in the Equestrian Collections fulfillment center.
