Natural Treatment for Thrush!

Well-Horse Thrush Off is the only botanical treatment that works on severe thrush! Natural and non-toxic, Thrush Off does not burn sensitive or live tissues such as the coronet band or an open wound.

Thrush is an infection of the frog. Many types of bacteria can cause thrush although "Fusobacterium Necrophorum" is often the host. This bacteria is anaerobic meaning that it survives without oxygen. This anaerobic organism penetrates the soft tissue of the frog and can eat all the way to the sensitive tissue and into the digital plantar cushion and eventually into the navicular and coffin bones.

Generally mild thrush is often easy to treat. However, if the factors causing the infection are not corrected (poor hoof keeping, infected stalls, etc), the infection will likely return.

Directions for use: Once the the black, dead tissue has been removed and the frog, cleft and sulcus (grooves on either side of the frog) have been cleaned, you can apply Thrush-Off. Brush the product deep into the affected areas with toothbrush. Thrush-Off kills thrush on contact. 0.5 oz.
